- Legal and accounting advice and services is offered by our affiliated company (Evans Law & Accounting Co, Ltd.) at www.ThailandLawyerAccountant.com. The need for accurate and reliable counsel and service in the legal and accounting fields became more and more acute as the volume of our business now incorporates nearly a hundred business and property transfers annually and many more requests for assistance with company formation, work permits, residence visas, marriages, etc., so we formalized our ad hoc in-house work in those fields into a formal company with lawyers and accountants on staff.
In nearly a decade of work in the property- and business-brokerage and business consultancy in Thailand (first in Bangkok, then since 1999 in Pattaya, and now with a new office in Rayong) we’ve come to recognize that offering a listing of properties or businesses for sale is really just the first step in successfully buying, selling or leasing a home or business in Thailand, especially for foreigners but also for Thai people dealing with foreigners.
So, we’ve in a sense, “spun off” the brokerage business and channelled sales of houses, condominium homes, and residential land into PattayaPropertyFinder, while marketing and sales of businesses and other investment properties is focused in PattayaInvestments.
We’ve also reactivated our monthly Pattaya Investments Magazine. Overall, we intend to use both “new media” and traditional marketing activities to create a unified business with a strong presence in the investment field throughout the Eastern Seaboard.
Evans Marketing Co., Ltd., has been refocused on its core mission as a business consultancy. Our focus will be on helping clients access, interpret, and then use information to make informed business and investing decisions – you might say to make the right business moves.

Our Managing Director, Charles R. Evans, established the first business consultancy in Pattaya in 1999 after several years working as a business advisor and marketing consultant in Bangkok. Prior to coming to Thailand Mr. Evans worked for almost 15 years as a Realtor, licensed Real Estate Agent, and Certified Business Consultant in the United States. He has now added certification from the National Association of Realtors as a Certified International Property Specialist.
The Evans Marketing Co., Ltd. consultancy will offer business and investment counsel and services. We will be available to do the following, and more:
- Market research for investors looking for businesses or other investment vehicles in Thailand, with a particular focus on the Eastern Seaboard. Of particular interest in this regard is our recent work with a group of Russian investors moving some of their operations to Thailand. As a result of that ongoing collaboration, we can offer translation and relocation services to Russian investors.
- Serve as “buyer’s representatives” to help assure investors that their interests are well served as they investigate possible business or property acquisition. We can identify possible acquisition targets; negotiate the most favorable price and terms; conduct due diligence investigations; negotiate lease renewals and assignments; advise on business structures; calculate and compare ROI for various investment alternatives; and assist with company formation and investor visas and work permits.
- Audit the management practices and performance of an existing business.
- Provide management oversight in place of an owner who is either out of the country or who prefers to own the business as an investment but does not care to be involved in the minutia of day-to-day operations. This services includes hiring, supervising (and if necessary firing) staff; managing payroll; managing inventory; managing marketing; maintaining tax and regulatory filings; prepare and submit to ownership periodic financial reports (P&L, balance sheet).
We’ve been doing business successfully in Thailand for most of a decade, and in the US for many years before that. We’ve helped literally hundreds of buyers and sellers achieve their business and investment objectives.
